Council candidates Pugh, Cockrel lead Detroit polls

Days before Detroit’s general election primary, some candidates are pulling ahead in the polls. Former journalist Charles Pugh leads the pack of 167 candidates with 65 percent voter support, according to a poll conducted by political consultant Mark Grebner.
