Former Detroit police monitor resigns from law firm

Washington, D.C.-based commercial law firm Venable L.L.P. confirmed Tuesday that Sheryl Robinson Wood, the former federally appointed monitor to oversee court-ordered reform in the Detroit Police Department, resigned as a partner.
