Red Wings defenseman Ericsson out indefinitely

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson has been sidelined indefinitely with a knee injury. The Red Wings on Tuesday recalled defenseman Doug Janik from Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League to replace Ericsson, who sustained a bone bruise to his left knee in a collision with Phoenix forward Shane Doan during Monday night's 3-2 win.
